To learn more about tennis club websites I used the following research methods.

To enhance the validity and reliability of results I triangulated the findings, to develop a comprehensive understanding the of user needs and preferences.

  • Most users access the RTC website using a phone

  • Users experienced difficulties or delays carrying
    out a task (in particular for mobile)

  • 3/5 overall satisfaction rate

  • ​​​Four tennis regional/national club websites 

  • focus on mobile navigation / key user flows

  • heuristic evaluation

 

Key Insights

The tennis websites that scored the best in the evaluation where those that stuck to conventions making it easy for users to navigate and find relevant information booking court facilities, coaching programs, and membership options.
